The rough that we cut this beautiful red gem with pink and purple colors is from Malawi, Africa. It is hard and tough enough to be worn most everywhere. It is ideal for a pendant, ring, or brooch. The checkerboard design offers flashes of pink and purple throughout. This richly colored gem was cut in America’s Historic Triangle by Greg Russell Founder of Gems by Gregory. We would be pleased, with your ideas and thoughts to guide us, to make a custom ring for this gem or in selecting one from a well respected US manufacturer of findings/rings/pendants. The cost of a ring supplied by Gems by Gregory is of course additional but there is No Charge for setting this gem regardless of your selection.
