Montana\u2019s sapphires are about as beautiful as any found worldwide! The Rock Creek area of Montana has been producing sapphires, with a brilliant display of colors, since 1892. When cut, these lovely sapphires of one carat or larger are prized and highly sought after.<\/p>\n

Potentate Mining LLC <\/a>owns several thousand acres in the Rock Creek area and is mining\/producing high quality facetable sapphire rough in a wide range of colors. Any heat treated sapphire is closely controlled and monitored by Potentate Mining and is also performed in Montana.
